Sharing the planet
INQUIRY
During the development of the project, students inquired about important aspects of the people's needs.
They also learned about the needs of people with different disabilities and the foundations that help them.
PLANNERS
Each student had their planner to work in an organized way
ACTION
After their investigation, the students chose a foundation “Campamento Cristiano Esperanza” that helps people with special disabilities, and decided to help in different ways.
Activities

They also created a donation campaign with the school students.
The students spoke with the Lower School’s principal to allow them to sell some of the foundation's products.

Principal Action
The students worked hard because they painted the foundation park by themselves
Results
On the action day, the students visited the foundation with donations and the money raised from the sales campaign. Also, the kids painted the park and it was meaningful.
SKILLS
Social
The kids had to talk with other people to learn more about people with special disabilities.
Communication
The students developed communication skills by having to talk with the people in charge of the foundation , the Lower Schoolś Principal, and students of the school.

Mentor’s Reflection
As a mentor of my group of students, I felt very proud of their hard work and all the effort that each one put into developing this project. Without a doubt, the challenges and difficulties that the children had to face were more than one, but I was able to observe how they developed communication, thinking and empathy skills. All of their effort was reflected in each of the actions they carried out in their project. I am happy and proud to have worked with them.
